The Manhattan Project is an invite-only event focused on celebrating visual effects, design, and all things that inspire. Every two months we invite speakers to share their story, explain their process, and showcase their work.
This month Atomic Fiction is thrilled to have George Hull, one of Hollywood’s leading design minds, and visual architect behind such films as Star Wars, Cloud Atlas, The Matrix, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, and most recently Blade Runner 2049.
George will talk about his history in the film industry, from his early days at Industrial Light and Magic on, and what goes into planning the fantastic worlds we love to see on-screen. It’s a rare opportunity to learn about production design from someone who’s worked with some of the most visionary directors in the business!
This Manhattan Project will be held in the Atrium of The Wilder, 1435 De Bleury St.
Join us, and enjoy delicious cocktails and the company of your colleagues and friends at Atomic Fiction!
