Atomic Fiction welcomes you to The Manhattan Project!
The Manhattan Project is an invite-only event focused on celebrating the arts and all things that inspire. Every two months, we invite artists to share their story, explain their process, and showcase their work. It’s also a good excuse to share a few cocktails with your colleagues at our beautiful Montreal studio!
This month, The Manhattan Project celebrates Women in Visual Effects.
There is a visible gender gap in the visual effects industry, with studies showing just 17.5% of visual effects roles occupied by women. While studios like Atomic Fiction are working hard to bridge this disparity in female representation, there are still hard discussions and work to be done. Please join our panelists Annie Normandin (Senior VFX Producer, Atomic Fiction), Jennifer Fairweather (Producer, Framestore), Frederikke Glick (Lead Compositor, Framestore), and Christine Liu (FX TD, Atomic Fiction) as they discuss their candid viewpoints and vision for our industry’s future. The panel will be moderated by Natasia Schumacher (Facility Manager, Atomic Fiction).
Date: May 26th, 2017
Time: Cocktail hour 6:30 pm. Doors close at 7 pm.
